In Sanskrit, ‘Nirjara’ signifies something that is eternal and everlasting.

What began as a personal journey inward became the seed of what would later become Nirjara. A call to create Jewellery that honours culture, ritual, and intention.

I arrived in India in early 2024 for what I imagined would be a two month solo pilgrimage: a time for stillness, study and exploration. What followed was several months of travelling through India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, wandering through temples, mountains, deserts and cities.

During my travels, I met a local jeweller. We spoke in gestures, laughter, and shared devotion. Day by day, we sat side by side singing, eating cake, shaping metal and setting stones with our hands. In that small mountain studio, I found what I didn't know I was seeking. A way to create with intention. A way to honour the sacred through the everyday.

Nirjara was born in that moment.

Today, Nirjara is thoughtfully designed on Bundjalung Country in the Northern Rivers of Australia and handcrafted in Jaipur, India, honouring the people, traditions, and craftsmanship that first inspired its creation.

With devotion,
